It keeps riders safe with Spherical Technology, a ball-and-socket design powered by Mips that allows the outer EPS layer to rotate around an inner EPP layer, managing both high and low speed impact forces while reducing rotational energy transferred to the brain. This layered Progressive Protection system also improves airflow, pairing with optimized intake and rear exhaust vents to deliver 50 percent better cooling efficiency than the Disciple Mips. The Roc Loc Air DH fit system suspends the helmet slightly above the skull to further enhance ventilation and allow easy adjustments. Additional protection includes a patent-pending Flex Gasket to mitigate collarbone impacts and a directional snap system that allows cheek pads to be safely removed in an emergency.
